the tsunami

o mann...
You know, if you don't read the news or watch it, you really don't feel the impact of the earthquake-tsunami that occurred on sunday coz Singapore is just too protected.
and I think Indonesia and Sri lanka are really badly hit from this catastrophe coz they not only need to grapple with the tsunami which is being so widely broadcasted, they also suffered from the 9.0 earthquake and the fact that their buildings are all not build to withstand such disasters. And the diseases that could occur due to absolutely lousy sanitation could kill even more people.
but despite this, it might be good for singapore, coz tourist would just want to deflect their plans and come to singapore..
bottom line is, i'm so glad i studied geography
and i love u ms FI-FI!!
